I have had a couple of folks ask how Sir Rowland was doing at school....
the answer is fantastic!!
Sir Rowland is currently 2 readers away from his second grade readers.
His favorite subject is arithmetic.
He works very well independently with incentives like computer time, etc.
There are 4 boys in his class and 7 girls. which means the girls are kept busy all day supervising. I noted this on visits etc. Little girls like supervising. HA!
They have spelling words weekly, and he is a better speller than his Mother.
He can count money, identify days of the week, odd and even numbers. He can identify nouns, adverbs, verbs, conjunctions, and prepositions.
I have not had much in the way of phonecalls, or trouble. YEAH!!
He has gymnastics one day a week. He is frustrated by some of his physical skills.
He does not like losing games, and has a terrible time playing organized games with others. I am not going to push this, until he is ready to move forward.
He is still complulsive which is probably common with 6 year olds.
