So, we have been waiting on the Harley to come in since my Dear Husbands return. It was supposed to be here April 13. Then April 24. Then April 28. You get the picture. We finally hear from the shop...It is done, pick it up TODAY!
So as the Universe and God would have it, Dear Husband is picking up his motorcycle TODAY, right before his urology consultation for his *whispering* vasectomy.
I am guessing he will not be able to ride his bike for a little while...Isn't that the way it goes.

Tell DH to be sure to use the ice packs just like they tell him -- and he'll be on the bike in DAYS not weeks... Really, the ice packs are the key!!!
Be safe... get the best helmets you can find 'cause you're worth it (right??)
We used frozen peas and corn. They mold better to the area... just sayin'...
Oh, that is funny. I can just imagine him roaring up to the house on that sexy machine then limping up the driveway.
Reminds me of my first Girl's Night Out soon after giving birth. I was the height of desirability with soggy cabbage leaves in my bra :-)
That's one of the funniest coincidences I've heard in a long while. Non-swelling wishes to your DH and he'll be back on the road in no time!
LOL! But congrats all around.
Seconding Bou's recommendation on the frozen veggies.
(double hernia operation survivor ;-)
At least you know he won't be "milking" his recovery because he'll be excited to get on his bike ;-)
