Day to day diary of a 40 year old working mother. Recipes, ocassional attempts at humor, family photos.
Children cannot be perfect all the time. Little Monkey has been up and down for the past 2 weeks of school. Give him time to settle down. *hugs*
3 steps forward, one step back... repeat until age 99 (age 75 for girls... they learn faster.)breathe deep and remind SR that each day is a new chance to do better than yesterday...
We're living that here too. I think I need a sedative. I wish I was joking...
Hugs! Take heart. Parenting is all ups and downs and ups and downs. It will be up again before you know it.I love Some Soldier's Mom comment.
Good luck. This is one of the most frustrating aspects of motherhood. My middle son is so bright and good-hearted, but his spirit has been stomped a bit and he comes home unhappy after school almost every day. :( Breaks my heart, but what can you do sometimes?
