I have all but one bed really in shape. It's the one I hate most and the one that was promised to be fixed before deployment. Yessir! That's the cookie crumbling you hear.
If the powers that be in this joint get their collective shizz together and PAY ME, I will hire it done, mulch and all. 3 jobs, 2 kids, 2 dogs & all that--I'd crack under the pressure. You are a stronger woman than I!
What a pretty garden! My kids are responsible for the weed picking, one of their chores, what a blessing! They don't complain either, we've recently run across a website, www.kids-save.com that is both parent and child involved and daily the kids go to this site and review their list of chores (set up by me, the parent) and the amount of their allowance for completing chores. There's an incentive to complete chores for the money earned and points are accrued which enable them to build an online kingdom. My boys are 5 and 8 and they are learning the value of duty, work, earning money and the wisdom of saving and spending it. I love this, no more arguing or lists of chores.
