I wish there was a nerd school

full of boys with buttoned up shirts, pocket protectors, people that think math jokes, and puns are funny, chess clubs, you get the picture...

because he would be thrilled.

In case you cannot tell we are getting ready for a come to Jesus meeting with the school. My gut hurts, my teeth are clenched and I want to scream.

DH has been made project team leader of "you could not do your job, and now you have made more work for everyone".....

I will be praying for you & have the cell phone charged to full capacity so you ring me whenever you need.

Definitely glad you delineated roles--I usually have the dad take on the role of The Closer and it works.

I hope they do not try to tune you out. Again, remember buzz words like "liability", "harm", "mandated" etc. {{Hugs}}

Hmmmm... I'm not sure of the back story, but "nerd school" sounds like my oldest son. If only. He would finally feel like he fits in somewhere. *sigh* Good luck, Mom.

Believe it or not, they have those schools here in PB County. Elementary is a tougher one, but by Middle School and High School... oh yes. In high school they start in Pre-calc their freshman year, all with college profs coming to the HS. By the time these kids graduate, they are all ready to be Juniors in any engineering or math/science program in the country, and not just AP credit, but true college credit as they have college profs come in and teach them all of it. Physics WITH calc at age 15. They go to MIT and all the Tech schools. Brilliant kids...
