Guess this is one time where my strict diet of no additives and preservatives has been a huge advantage. Most of the time it's the other way around. But none of that stuff makes it into my cabinets because of the extras in it for shelf life - those give me migraines.

Heh - never would've guessed I'd be happy I had to live with migraines...

What, persactly, does Salmonella do? If if only replaces Ex-Lax it might just be useful to keep some of those things on hand.

It's probably a bit more serious than that but it sure seems as if there are a whole lot more product recalls than when I was a boy and almost lived on peanut butter. and I surely didn't die from peaner butter.

Great, I've been eating peanut butter cookies my mother made for me ... using who knows what.

If I suddenly stop commenting, you'll know why. :)

Thanks for the list. I actually went through the whole thing just in case. Nothing dangerous in Amaravati, unless it's an ingredient in my mother's cookies.
