what was the final result?

The local election here that I was very interested in was the school bond and the no-smoking ban. And glory be, both passed. I am SO excited that Manhattan, KS has jumped on the no-smoking bandwagon...but sad that I won't be able to enjoy it, since we leave in 44 days, and it goes into effect in 60 days...sigh.
