They suck.

I also think the word verification I have on the screen right now says it best: "doush"

Well, I never! I feel like writing a very strongly worded letter on your behalf!

When you & I finally land in great jobs, I say you & I get together, drink us some gin & tonic and prank call ALL the people from whom we've received rejection letters. Then, we can start a bonfire with all those letters and make s'mores.

sorry sweetie. this was a job I thought you were PERFECT for... their loss (well, yours, too -- for the moment.) You can always hope you're #2 on the list and #1 bails...

HUGS to you from me & your BF

I am so sorry. Job finding sucks ass, even more so in a tough economy.

I am so, so sorry. If I was all enlightened I'd tell you that something better must be on the horizon and that everything happens for a reason. But I'm not, so I'll just say...that sucks.

But I do know that things will work out.

I'm sorry hear that. I'll do my Bill Clinton imitation and say "I feel your pain." LOL! It could be worse, you be unemployed like have been for the last 6 months. I hope you eventually get the job you want.

Mind if I add you to my blogroll. It has a conservative slant, so I want to ask first.

Hey Guard Wife! Don't forget me!! I've got a pretty hefty stack of those letters/emails too. I don't drink gin, but I can BYO no problem.

At this point, I should have saved money on paint, and used the rejection letters as wallpaper, there are enough to do the laundry room....at least.

Ohhhh I know patience is good, and there is a lesson in this...I know there is.

I have frankly been putting all sorts of resumes out. I have never never had to do this. It is a new lesson, and is making me very empathetic to others that are looking for positions.

Especially in a skiddish econmy

I'm sorry, that just sucks - as SFW would say - Like a Dyson. majorly absolutely sucks. Job hunting is a nightmare under the best of circumstances.. but I'll just keep my toes crossed for you.. fingers mean I can't type, toes... well walking gets interesting but hey, around here we need something to chuckle at - as the firm loses attorneys like crazy...
