Waiting is the strangest part

The phone interview is complete.

I was caught off guard by the line of questioning.

It was a recorded interview, with a series of questions created by another company.

Answer the question, and move on.

Oye...

I was prepared to go over my resume.

So now they interpret results, and then they get back to me.

Amazing, finding a job in 2008.

So far I have seen very little face to face or personal interaction.

A lot of resume submissions online, personality quizzes, math tests, etc. Some of them have taken about 45 minutes! Amazing.

I think I did good today. Not excellent, I was all geared up for something else, and than whammo a change in plans.

I am making brunch now..bacon, raisin toast, and eggs....

Phone interviews are not cool. I haven't had one in a long time, but they are not my favorite.

Good luck with your other adventures today!

whatever happened to "Let's discuss your qualifications for this job and why you think you'd be good for this job and our company?" I guess we had it easy in the "old days", huh?

The phone interview that I did was not what I expected either. Kind of threw me.
