I am currently applying for a position at the VA in healthcare...
they need nurses right?
Problem #1, there is only an outpatient clinic here.
Problem #2, there is no HR office here.
Problem #3, there are like 10 pages of paperwork...
Problem #4, one of the pages I have to sign, is a paperwork reduction act paper...

Maybe I should call it blogging is cheaper than therapy
Oh for heaven's sake, they really had a paperwork reduction form?? I've never applied to the VA, but the GS paperwork to work at a hospital or clinic on post is nightmarish. Oh and they take at least 6-8 months to get back to you. I hope you get quicker results from the VA, they need good nurses from what I hear.
But look at the bright side:
Once you get hired, they could never get rid of you. Too much paperwork!
Good luck!
oh, that paperwork reduction form always makes me laugh... ok, so why not let me just do ONE form, and forget all those little essays you want, and oh, yeah, we have to do a different one for EVERY position... INSANITY! but... with the way this firm is going... think I'll start doing a few. Since it's not urgent this time, I may not get so frustrated. ha hahahahahahahahaha.
