This is the first year since the birth of The Collective that we have put the glass and antique ornaments on the tree. The Collective actually trimmed the tree, at least what they could reach. I promise it is beautiful.

It looks gorgeous! We haven't put ours up yet. I know I need to get it done or it will be even closer to Christmas and MORE annoying b/c of all the work to put it up & then take it down not long after. :)

isn't that funny? because we have the one year old grandson in residence, we couldn't put up the handmade, antique and glass ornaments -- we are back to shatterproof (read plastic!) ornaments!!! but at least the nonbreakable ornaments have come light years since our kids were little and they are pretty shiny, sparkly and attractive!
