Tom Hanks, you owe me.

Polar Express is on tonight 8pm CST. Please Tom Hanks entertain my children.

I have a radio show tonight for SpouseBuzz, on reintegration of returning veterans, with PTSD, or a physical injury.

When I slated the show, my DH was scheduled to be here. He is not.

So I have team wrestling crazy folks unattended for an hour. Which sounds like a cake walk, I assure you I am on pins, these children better act right.

I hope Polar Express had the desired effect on the collective.

Keep up the good work on the PTSD front.

Best of the holdays!

I have been reading and following your blog for a few weeks now. Today the PTSD caught my eye. My fiance has PTSD and we deal with it daily and he is getting ready to deploy again. I would love to be able to read any good info you might have on it. Thanks in advance.

Mary,

first I would suggest you get help ASAP. Not kidding here.

Courage After Fire, was a great book, fairly good list of resources for help, and stratagies in the book for soldiers and families.

But please make sure he seeks help, not only for his sake, but for your entire family.

My kids love that movie. I can't count how many times they've watched it.

Yes he is currently getting help. I encouraged him to do so after returning 2 years ago and will do so again when he returns.

I learned alot about PTSD myself as I also deal with it daily. Mine is not due to being in the military mine is because of a car accident. I will look into the book that you suggested for the both of us.
