Last night DH made a comment about PN's hair being gumpy, with something. I was like whatever, it just needs to be washed...
Ta Dah, she had mentos watermelon gum in it ALL DAY.
Just for the record, if gum dries in your hair, it is impossible to use, ice, peanut butter, oil to get it out.
So I got as much as I could out and then gave her a haircut.
Yes, that is right, for those of you keeping track that is 2 impromptu haircuts this week...

Youch... I just hope my boys don't have that problem, their hair is so short I would cut them bald to get it out. Sigh.
Who-boy. It's difficult to imagine her with a buzz cut so maybe she should swear off gum & using scissors for awhile??
I was counting! I was counting! :)
This will sound awful, but lighter fluid (the kind you use to put into butane lighters, not light grills!) works on gum in hair...stinks like heck, but it breaks the gum down and helps remove the stickiness.
And this is why my just-turned-five year old son can no longer chew gum...he put it in his sister's butt length hair!
