These are the eggs we made with the silk ties. I had as much fun as The Collective!
PS* Follow the directions, and let the eggs cool, as the print will probably be more pronounced...we are an impatient bunch. Yes even me, the Mom.

I wanted to try this after reading about it here & seeing the link! If I can make it to Goodwill to look for neat ties, I will do this!
I just finished cutting my ties (going to see if I can find more today or tomorrow) and we'll be doing the very same thing. Quick question...did you wrap them "bright side" in or out? Some of the ties don't have the pattern prominent on the backside of the silk....
bright side in...and try to wrap them tight...I used string, but I would suggest using twist ties. and let them cool!! We did not let them cool enough!!
Way cool. I'm hitting goodwill on my way home too.
Also, who buys your hubby ties? Based on the patterns/colors displayed...
we may need to have a talk.
