The preparations are made and we will put the turkey on the barbecue tomorrow morning.

Sister-in-law and her husband, our yorkie and their russian blue will be in attendance. I can't help but think of the number of Thanksgivings my brother-in-law and I missed while serving.

We will raise our glasses and give thanks to those far from home who are protecting our great country.

Thank you to them and their loved ones. Happy Thanksgiving to our brothers and sisters walking the walls. Wish you were here.

Davidvet66https://www.blogger.com/profile/07138153738393721582noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11291056.post-66507231452165915712008-11-26T15:42:00.000-06:002008-11-26T15:42:00.000-06:00You Have a Great Holiday Too!I Might just have to ...You Have a Great Holiday Too!

I Might just have to steal your jello salad recipe.

Share and Discuss Even more Military InformationAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14780939870089410558noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11291056.post-73555096942842156912008-11-26T11:49:00.000-06:002008-11-26T11:49:00.000-06:00have a wonderful time... nothing like family!!your...have a wonderful time... nothing like family!!

your BF and the sons in residence put up the Christmas lights and decorations outside last week while it was still 70 degrees (but we will not light them until after Thanksgiving)... in is now 50 and raining with the possibility of light flurries over the next 2 days -- which is why we do the lights when it's 70 ;-) besides, with the economy the way it is -- we needed a little Christmas!

hugs & love to you all! Some Soldier's Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16934456863737157251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11291056.post-34593309003063291522008-11-26T11:25:00.000-06:002008-11-26T11:25:00.000-06:0014 is nothing.
